Got to be an excuse. To be fair they didn’t need an excuse, they should have just said “Andrew will not be attending because he is a paedophile and an embarrassment to the Queen” and left it at that.

To be fair they all wanted him there, they just couldn't for the sake of maintaining the RF. He spends his time with his dearest mammy and it will always be like that. At 17yo, she was over the age of consent. But she was still sex trafficked as a minor. And she was still a minor when raped (which is where the paed comes from?.)
