Can anyone explain the reasons that the royals were sat where they were?
Does it have any seniority or title reason?

Most senior royals at the front going right to left on the left side of the aisle and left to right on the right side of the aisle. Same on the second row. More senior sat nearest the aisle by position in line for the throne.

I thought it was the duchess of Kent sat next to the duke of Kent, it’s his sister , her children are on the other side , are their partners sat behind?
I wish I paid more attention to the people getting off those buses Grin.

The front row is all the working royals (and in the case of Edward and Sophie, their children also - it’s the same group who were on the balcony on Thursday, minus the Cambridge children). The second row is all the Queen’s grandchildren, her niece and nephew (and their children), and her first cousins once removed. None of the second row are working royals
