I notice that the Royals do a lot of pointing, especially when they're amongst each other. I've always wondered why they do that. Has anybody else noticed that?

Just shows, doesnt matter who you are, it's really hard to get a good builder

Is this not just because they are aware they are being watched? They have to keep up a ‘chatty’ charade and either don’t have a lot to say / what they do want to say isn’t appropriate with potential lip readers around so have to stick to ‘oh what a lovely view over there’, ‘yes what an idyllic woodland in the distance’ etc pointy pointy.

Yes there is a lot of pointing. I think it could be a photo thing as it adds interest in candid shots if they're pointing!

You rare BU to point this out

thereisonlyoneofme · 24/01/2022 11:08

are, not rare.

Perhaps they are attempting to look interested and engaged when at events.....even if it's just another boring building opening or charity function.

dogmandu · 25/01/2022 20:58

yes I think they are trying to look interested but it's something that I rarely see other people do.

I don’t like it, it feels rude to me.
