This according to guess who. The DM of course. To avoid getting papers served says the article. Maybe he's just gone for a nice break. Accompanied by Fergie.

@Roussette

Gosh... call me cynical.. but this to me is a major diversionary tactic.

Friday 7pm a programme called 'Black to Front' and the Queen and RF now professing to be supporting the BLM movement.
Sir Ken Olisa, the first black Lord-Lieutenant for London revealed to Channel 4 that he had discussed the topic of racism with members of the royal household in the wake of George Floyd’s murder in the US.

In an interview with the broadcaster, he said: “I have discussed with the royal household this whole issue of race particularly in the last 12 months since the George Floyd incident.

Here

What a shame the Queen didn't try and stand up against the vile racist press Meghan had to endure. It is possible to do as has been seen before (Q's lawyers letters to all the press telling them not to take pics up at Balmoral just recently)
The RF PR machine is in overdrive, especially as VG's court case is being heard on Monday.

The cheek !

I am looking forward to the trial. PA gets all that he deserves. I guess Fergie stands by him as she is tied up in it all herself.

@Viviennemary

You can bet Charles won't be slimming himself down. It will be all the hangers on that will go. But as most of them are elderly it will just be a matter of not housing the younger ones. I don't think they get peppercorn rents in palatial splendour. What a gravy train. We must be mugs.
Absolutely.
Roussette · 10/09/2021 16:10

Good grief. This is how he's seen in the US...a prince on the run.

Maybe they get a more honest version than we do?

Roussette · 10/09/2021 16:36

Interesting point.
Yes probably!

OverByYer · 10/09/2021 17:19

Thanks for sharing @Roussette
As we have thought attempts have been made to serve papers but PA is avoiding/ hiding.

Aspiringmatriarch · 10/09/2021 18:47

Apparently he has now been served.

Sorry for the rubbish picture but details here.

Prince Andrew has bolted to Balmoral
Dreamstate · 10/09/2021 18:55

Fantastic he has been served!! Happy days

Serenster · 10/09/2021 18:58

So he’s clearly not been hiding out at at Balmoral then, for those who were saying so. He was served at his home (and wasn’t hiding in the wardrobe pretending not to be home Grin )

Aspiringmatriarch · 10/09/2021 19:02

If you read the document, he definitely did his best to avoid it!

ThatSunnyCorner · 10/09/2021 19:03

Yes, great news. That article did say he was 'moving around'. He'd obviously left Balmoral at some point. Hope he's rather worried right now.
Dreamstate · 10/09/2021 19:08

Got the 🍿 ready, lets see how the media bury articles about it so its lower down the page

Susannahmoody · 10/09/2021 19:09

Ooh yeah Andy, served! Get thee to NY!

smilesy · 10/09/2021 19:25

It would seem that the papers were served on August 27th, so his running around recently was a red herring 😮

Dreamstate · 10/09/2021 19:58

Myabe someone with legal knowhow can explain if its legally okay to serve papers to the police officers, as it says it wasn't served to Andrew himself...

Wonder what will happen to those police officers as it states that staff were instructed not to relieve papers but the police on duty that day chnaged their kind.

I'm a bit confused

Lockupyourbiscuits · 10/09/2021 20:03

Would have loved to see his smug sweat-less face when those papers were served
Next on the list should be those disgusting paedophile rock stars - how the hell have they got away with it !

AuntMasha · 10/09/2021 20:18

Oh this has made my day! Grin

Susannahmoody · 10/09/2021 20:20

So he has the option to be present in court or accept the decision without appearing?

Susannahmoody · 10/09/2021 20:21

'If Andrew doesn't respond there can be a default judgement against him.'

^

Really? Is this accurate?

Susannahmoody · 10/09/2021 20:23

^^

Given that he's not allowed to answer the door himself I guess it's OK?

This was my immediate thought.

Why multiple attempts when all it seems to have needed was handing over at the gate?

Anyway. Whatever the means it's happy, happy news and makes the log cabin summit all the more intriguing.

WinnieTheW0rm · 10/09/2021 20:59

I've just had news pop ups saying that the papers have been served (according to VG's lawyers)
