Admit you were wrong posters?

So are those posters who were frothing about how outrageous it was that Harry and Meghan's baby was going to be born by caesarian on Prince Philip's birthday, June the 10th, admit they were wrong?
This was alleged to be another attention-seeking move on their part.
But look, the baby was born on an ordinary date and was a natural birth.

Jumpsuits are not for me, I have a really long body and then short legs. I would say, alas, except it’s probably better for those who have to see me in them too Grin.

I did like her olive green jumper, trousers and sleeveless jacket in the other shots. Gorgeous colour and a very elegant look, but again not one I could pull off.

AnnunciataZ · 17/09/2021 09:58

@Roussette

Oh good! Glad to hear it! Smile

I will say, forgetting Harry and his hair or lack of it I didn't like the pic, he looked too short lol
However, I loved her jumpsuit and want to look like that in a jumpsuit, as opposed to me looking like a man in a boiler suit, in one 🤣

I can carry off some jumpsuits but boilersuits make me look like I'm about to open a car bonnet and change the spark plugs. And as for dungarees, anyone fancy a chorus of Come On Eileen?
Roussette · 17/09/2021 10:19

AnnunciataZ

Grin Don't start me off on dungarees! My arse looks like the size of a small country in them 😂🤣😂
smilesy · 17/09/2021 10:35

I just don’t think jumpsuits or dungarees are very toilet friendly, even though I am lucky enough to look ok in them. I just imagine them trailing on a wet floor and ending up with wet patches in dodgy places 🤣

I have only seen the cover pic. Isn't he sitting on a low wall?

derxa · 17/09/2021 13:36

Placemarking but not 'attacking'

Roussette · 17/09/2021 16:08

He could well be sitting on a wall, I was too focussed on the jumpsuit

smilesy · 17/09/2021 17:11

Yes he is sitting on a wall.

@dontyouwish2

Yes, *@AnnunciataZ* it's a well publicised article and I don't know if posters think we have memories of a goldfish. It still gets quoted up to this day.

Not sure why H&M are singled out, when everyone in that magazine as well as every glossy magazine cover gets potrayed in a glossy manner. It is not done as much as people are making out. They both went to a hairdresser and had make up obviously, but their bodies have not been altered, mm's freckles and their blemishes are there etc. The picture looks sharp and glossy as it should for a magazine cover.

@Serenster @AnnunciataZ Are these some of the things you are referring to as not true when you say some posters constantly state Meghan is treated more harshly than Kate and it's not true apparently because Kate didn't do these things?
Serenster · 17/09/2021 21:48

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I was referring to Rosebel’s post on 30 August.

PreparationPreparationPrep · 18/09/2021 08:51

I see - so when you were searching for examples and found that the births of the children were not true. Did you not come across the many that are true? I would have thought someone as thorough and "indifferent to M&H" would have found it quite easily.

Serenster · 18/09/2021 09:05

No, you don’t see.

Rosebel’s posted on this thread: But exactly the same thing happened with Catherine. They said she'd gone in to labour only after the baby was born. That happened with all 3. No one complained about that

I read that, and thought it didn’t sound right, as I remembered the circumstances and timings of George’s birth. So I looked it up, realised that Rosebel’s was wrong on all three counts, and posted the timeline to correct her. Because, as I said upthread, it annoys me when all sides throw around misinformation as fact.

My post had nothing whatsoever to do with the article you linked to, it was a response to Rosebel’s incorrect assertions.

Jumpsuits are a minefield IMO. It's often said that they suit skinny people, which I agree with, though I think if you're tall and curvy, you can make them work. However, being tall is key. I am neither tall nor skinny, so I avoid them as I look like Eric the less attractive painter brother-in-law in the sitcom Brush Strokes, for those old enough to remember Wink

Roussette · 18/09/2021 17:14

Lolol I do remember!
I love jumpsuits though
