I can't help but feel that Beatrice got revenge for Eugenie by announcing her pregnancy on Harry and Meghan's wedding anniversary . If she did this purposefully, good on her.

All you ladies who felt physically fine during first term pregnancy, did that extend to mentally feeling fine too? Everything set me off crying from about 8 weeks onwards. I was an emotional mess crying at dumb adverts and snapping at DH for eating too loudly. I personally wouldn’t have coped with a grandparent dying.

Yes, I basically sailed through my first pregnancy with no symptoms other than an expanding waistline. I actually did have a grandparent die during my pregnancy as well. I think I would have been about six months in. I was fine really, but that was impacted by it being a relief of a death in a lot of ways, at the end of a decade long decline into Alzheimer's.

Naïvely assumed pregnancy 2 would be the same. Nope! Ended up off work for two months with horrendous morning sickness and then spend the next six months exhausted and miserable, desperate to get to the end!

I hope the Queen gets to have a photo of all her great grandchildren together at some point.
Sadly, I think it will take the grand children a while to repair relationships to get to that point.

I don’t think it’s Beatrice’s choice is it? It is interesting and no coincidence that BP chose today to announce it, together with no official congratulations to H and M for their anniversary.
It’s lovely that the sisters are having their babies so close together. They are very blessed.

She means timing the announcement of the pregnancy to coincide with H&M’s wedding anniversary, not getting pregnant in itself.

All sounds very childish, but apparently some members of the BRF - or their staff - do sometimes play this game of trying to overshadow each other by timing certain events and press releases to eclipse those of other family members. During the 90s Diana & Charles were constantly at it.

Who knows if that’s what’s going on here?

MM didn't 'announce' her pregnancy, she probably told a couple of people whom she considered to be close to her and Harry, and her mum, but in no way did that over shadow Princess Eugenie's beautiful wedding. I doubt that even crossed her mind when she found out, why would it? She and her sister were always very close to Harry and William.

She has a relatively pronounced bump - I'd say she was past the first trimester at the funeral.
