Just that really. Is there any point attempting to discuss this issue?
And don’t bother posting ‘yawn’ or ‘trot on’; you don’t have to read threads if they don’t interest you.

I'd like a Meghan and Harry free zone.

Stick all the threads under Royal Family.

I really do think we should be free to discuss this, after all the woman at the head of this household is responsible for approving our laws and members of the family recieve or have recieved public money. The way the monarchy behaves is important to the British public.

Imo it the allegations of racism.. poster makes comment about Meghan, next poster weighs in with ‘more racist vitriol’, and post thread is deleted. Any attempt to deny being a racist is met with ‘white privilege’ calls.

Amen. I'd also love to be able to block all these threads from appearing in 'active' and 'trending now'.

Apparently British public not that arsed about how the monarchy behaves, because these lying, grasping, overentitled apologists for paedophiles are still in situ. This country is turning into a cesspit.

I think that if we were to have a referendum, it would be as close as Brexit. It's ridiculous we still have a monarchy in this day and age and this whole thing has been embarrassing for our country. I think the fact that Prince Harry felt so comfortable using the p word on camera to refer to a fellow soldier goes to show exactly the type of family he was raised in.

I don't understand why any poster on here, can just call anybody a racist without knowing anything about them? Surely you should just report the post if you feel the need and let mumsnet sort it out. Why does it have to be a bunfight? If Mumsnet genuinely believes that some posts are racist then why don't they boot the poster off mumsnet completely? (all these questions..........) It gets really tedious with the constant "you don't like Meghan therefore you must be racist, thats a bit of a stupid thought is it not?

I dunno, I'm testing?!

I'm really against all this bitching about family in the press. Meghan doesn't dare do it about her own family as she wants to pretend they don't exist. So she takes it out on Harry's and he plays along and tramples on his own mother's memory. Because they are royal, goddit?

This makes them 'superior' to you in their eyes. So they want every ounce of the monarchy.

A thread called harry and Meghan explained was pulled. The OP thought that M had manipulated H and cut him off from his family.
MN pulled the thread on the basis that they needed to ensure that "the OP was a relevant qualified psyche attending to the relevant parties" and then went on to say "(and then she's got some privacy issues so...) "
So do posters have to have a relevant qualification to have an opinion?
What is the point of the privacy issues part?

Whilst what the OP saying was speculation. It was not impossible that H is being manipulated. Anymore than any other pov, so interested to hear from mumsnet regarding their decision.

@Knitterbabe

Would witnesses not be needed for a legal wedding?

Yes, of course they'd be needed for a legal (ie the actual ceremony that was televised) wedding. But that doesn't mean she didn't think of it as their first real union, even if it wasn't witnessed formally.

The threads are deleted because so many people are racist and misogynist. There in particular seems to be a need for women to attack other women and paint them as the succubus or devil ie 'Meghan has her claws in' or the 'Harry will have to Meghan's permission' or 'masterminded by Meghan no doubt' type posts that show the internalised misogyny of women who are each other's worst enemy. Clearly it wouldn't be acceptable on a women's site for women to be tearing strips off a woman and claiming she rules the roost, Harry is 'owned' and has no mind of his own. Misogyny of that type clearly wouldn't be acceptable on this site (indeed on many sites).

It's especially sad considering Harry is stronger than Meghan and is clearly very protective of her, you can even see it when he looks at her. But with the Meghan haters, everything is Meghan's fault. Everything. Short of nuclear war.

Perfect example of what I was talking about. It wouldn't be Harry's legal team. Or the Royal Family's. Oh no! It's MEGHAN that rules everything. Always the woman to blame for every single thing.

Only she never did.

Report

In fact, Kate was happy to allow Meghan to be framed and blamed for the stockings incident, and relished in it, and never once stood up for Meghan or corrected the narrative. Meghan covered for her. Meghan gracefully took the blame, and never said anything until now.
