I wonder how much more damage the book will do to her privacy case ?
She has claimed that the publication of her letter has caused distress to her father, yet, if the book's content is as suggested, she is about to do the same thing to the royal family? I would expect that the author might be called to give evidence about the letter and his part, if any, in revealing it to the American publication. It would not be a massive stretch for a half decent QC to then move on to questions about the forthcoming book. And let's face it, whatever your own feelings about the DM and MOS, they can definitely afford very decent legal representation. Whilst the word 'hypocrisy ' might not be voiced, it will definitely be implied.
I also think that once the book is published (postponed until August I read), the royal gloves will be off when it comes to the annual review. I suspect that H&M thought that by the time the book was published, they would be established in their money making endeavours in the US, and that they would not be depending on POW to continue to fund them going forward. Unfortunately for them, Covid-19 came along and put a stop to that, making it far more likely they will still need money from the RF. I can quite easily see the RF pulling up the drawbridge. I agree with those on here who have said that H has been indulged for most of his life, understandably, and still seems to expect that, even at almost 40 years of age. As dreadful as it is, he is not the only person to lose a parent in tragic circumstances whilst still a child. William lost his mother too. But I don't get the impression that William wants to blame the world for what happened. He, too, must feel anger as well as intense sadness about what happened and I suspect he has also tried to support Harry even whilst dealing with his own grief.
The whole situation is very sad and a big mess. Sadly, after this case is over, whatever the outcome, and once the book is published, I really think H will have well and truly burnt his boats with the RF.
