H&M's IG post provided me with a much needed laugh during these difficult times. Who the HELL do they think they are, with their silly crown motif, dispensing daft meaningless quotes?
I'd have more respect for them if they left their mansion and volunteered at a foodbank, or helped to make deliveries to vulnerable people.
What a self serving, selfish, tone deaf, limelight seeking pair they are.

It's like he's being held prisoner in the utility room of the billionaire's mansion and doing a quick selfie on his phone. The setting of the announcement's a bit underwhelming.

The gist is he’s very sorry the Invictus Games are cancelled.
I agree the setting is bizarre. He seemed to be sitting in a huge room and his voice was echoing. He looked like there was a kitchen cabinet beside him. He looked miserable I thought.

Of course he'd be glum. It's a big deal to call off events like this one.

But with a new date already in mind, the Invictus competitors are in a better place than Paralympians who may lose their games altogether (IOC has yet to cancel, but does anyone think the Games can go ahead?)

Well that's a great shame, but entirely foreseeable given the world at the moment...

Understandable in these worrying times.

Don’t know if this helps but I just watched a rather lovely man being interviewed by BBC Radio 5 Live - who has cystic fibrosis and just recovering from CV... the first thing he ate was a Penguin bar.

I'm OK thanks, I mean not great, but not too bad. fleas I got through to a Dr on 111 after being triaged because I have a concerning symptom and an underlying health condition. Something to monitor but I'm alright at home for now thankfully.

I'll watch Harry's message in a bit. Have you seen that SussexRoyal has posted up the Queen's message though?

It's hilarious. First they were distancing from the Queen and undermining her, throwing shade at her understanding of terms like 'royal', despite having been living as one since long before either of them was a twinkle in the postman's eye).

Now they're doing what they can to remind everyone they're very much part of the Queen's family.

If Royal business is going to be done, it will likely be William who's out doing it as people said. That's going to mess with any plans HaM had to align themselves with the Queen.

I noticed that both Sussex and Kensington Royals had posted the Queen's message, as well as the Royal Family.

Like you my first thought was that the Sussexes were just getting in on the act but I quickly decided I was doing them a disservice. I suspect it was a three line whip from HMQ to get the message out to as many people as possible, and H&M have a huge Insta following of their own.

Quite why they couldn't all agree to post a consistent version instead of mucking about with the font etc beats me. But that just confirms what we know about communication between the camps.
