All I have to do is read the “uplifting” word salads on the SussexRoyal Instagram to note her “characteristics”.

I didn’t compare MM to Trump. I noted she is a product of the same society.

Winterlife · 26/03/2020 14:52

@BelleharePenguin09 it’s clear from her instagram.

Parker231 · 26/03/2020 14:54

I’ve just looked at their Instagram- can’t see anything wrong with positive messages. Would you rather they post negative ones?

What have Harry and Meghan done wrong?

7Penguins · 26/03/2020 14:56

Every Insta post has been discussed on previous pages. If you are interested in our opinions, why don’t you scroll back? Smile

Parker231 · 26/03/2020 14:59

I think I’ll leave it here. I just get annoyed. Lets agree to disagree. I’ll never understand how there can be so much hate for someone you don’t know, haven’t met and hasn’t impacted your life in any way.

Winterlife · 26/03/2020 15:04

I don’t hate MM. Don’t put “words” in my mouth.

TheNavigator · 26/03/2020 15:06

Winterlife you don't hate her, but you call her 'Self absorbed, self important, superficial, poorly educated'. Wonder what you say about people you do hate Shock

TimeLady · 26/03/2020 15:08

Nobody hates her. But as long as they’re accepting taxpayers’ money, those same taxpayers have every right to hold them to account.

7Penguins · 26/03/2020 15:08

This is observation, not hate. HTH. Wink

SenecaFallsRedux · 26/03/2020 15:09

And she is not poorly educated. She has a degree from Northwestern University with a double major in theater and international studies.

Winterlife · 26/03/2020 15:10

Exactly @7Penguins.

I don’t hate anyone.

SenecaFallsRedux · 26/03/2020 15:11

Nobody hates her. That is a truly laughable statement. You don't have to use the word to exhibit the sentiment. And the sentiment has been exhibited by many.

BarleylemonPenguin · 26/03/2020 15:13

I’ll never understand how there can be so much hate for someone you don’t know, haven’t met and hasn’t impacted your life in any way. - it's not hate but a weighing up of the fact that taxpayers feel that they haven't had value for money from her given that she folded after only a few months. If she wanted a Pippa Middleton-esque lifestyle, she should have sought it out. The one she selected comes with strings attached. For her to get a free wedding means that somebody went without. It's just a cost-benefit analysis.

Winterlife · 26/03/2020 15:13

@SenecaFallsRedux, attending college does not mean a person is by default, well educated. Read her instagram posts. Those are not the posts of someone reading Plato or Dostoevsky in her spare time.

7Penguins · 26/03/2020 15:14

Seneca I don’t begrudge you a laugh.
What you find laughable is no concern of my mine, and vice versa. Wink

yoloPenguinsEatfish · 26/03/2020 15:15

I just find her so patronising, and H by extension.

With every possible advantage in the world, they could have done some real good. Instead they had a hissy fit and stomped off, and are now desperately trying to make themselves relevant somehow, while we British taxpayers stump up for their security.

It's the UK security detail stuck in Canada for the foreseeable that I feel sorry for - I'm sure they'd rather be in their own homes, looking out for their own families.

I think everyone will agree that MM is no intellectual.
There’s really no point in even entertaining this laughable notion. Wink

lyralalala · 26/03/2020 15:16

@HarryDaylight If you are a critically ill person Balmoral is the arse end of nowhere

It’s an hour from Aberdeen hospital, slightly less with blue lights, but asking an ambulance driver to tank it on some of those roads is outrageous when he didn’t need to travel there.

@BelleharePenguin09 It’s a turn of phrase. Nothing ignorant about it - it’s a stupid place to go when you are over 70 and ill. I know that because I grew up in Dinnet.

Balmoral and all the areas around it are stunning, but they are not where you want to be if there is a likelihood you’ll need emergency medical treatment quickly.

But hey, let’s focus on me using a common turn of phrase rather than his irresponsibility 🙄

CanIHaveAPenguinPlease · 26/03/2020 15:16

You can dislike someone’s actions & not the person.

For example I don’t like the fact that PC went to Birkhall when on the face of it, already unwell, doesn’t mean I hate him!

SenecaFallsRedux · 26/03/2020 15:17

Speaking of education, I think it might be beneficial for some to look up the dictionary definition of "hate."

HarryDaylight · 26/03/2020 15:17

BelleharePenguine09 the same poster referred to the Balmoral Estate as the arse end of nowhere twice. It was witless and ignorant the first time, but frankly just goady the second.

Winterlife · 26/03/2020 15:18

Should H&M decide to live their lives out of the public eye, I will wish them well and stop commenting on them.

lyralalala · 26/03/2020 15:19

@HarryDaylight The arse end of nowhere means an extremely remote place... Balmoral is extremely remote and it just a phrase

Winterlife · 26/03/2020 15:22

@SenecaFallsRedux, one can dislike a person’s actions without having intense feelings about, or for, the person.

AlexaAmbidextra · 26/03/2020 15:25

It’s an hour from Aberdeen hospital, slightly less with blue lights, but asking an ambulance driver to tank it on some of those roads is outrageous when he didn’t need to travel there.

Nobody would be asking an ambulance driver to tank it anywhere. They’d do it in a helicopter in ten minutes.
