I listened to the podcast over the weekend and hugely enjoyed it. What did you take away from it? I definitely want to spend more time outdoors, although still want to make sure all the maths homework is done!

I though she came across extremely well and has obviously done a lot of research in this particular area. I liked the part where she discussed the hospital steps where she discussed that everybody was so happy for them that she wanted to show them the babies. I think she understands her role well and is happy in it. She is a good asset to the royal family and actually the country.

I thought it was horribly contrived and though she’s trying to say ‘see, I’m just like you mums!’ She actually has no bloody idea.

Same. But she lives within and benefits from a class-based society so what can one expect?

No different from Victoria Beckham’s “I’m a working mum” statement (in claiming that she knows what it’s like for working mothers in the UK). I hardly think she dashed to Asda after a day of minimum wage to rifle through the reduced section, looking for something to make the few pounds she has left in her purse last the rest of the week.
