I think it will be born tomorrow, it will be a girl and they’ll call her Rosa Elizabeth.

What’s everyone else (who’s interested) thinking?

David wouid be a really good choice - as Harry's a Wales, it's got the hipster vibe of Kevin, but a solid Royal pedigree

noodlenosefraggle · 03/05/2019 19:04

David was Edward VIII 's name wasn't it? Not sure how well that would go down, although St David...

EdithWeston · 03/05/2019 19:18

David is one of Harry's middle names, so I think it's been rehabilitated enough to use again.

icanthelpyou · 03/05/2019 19:21

Twins boy & girl. Henry and Rose.

Princess Margaret's son is also called David

floraloctopus · 03/05/2019 22:03

Barry would be a good name...it's unusual and it has the Welsh connection.

Baby will be born on Monday and be named petal Tina

ivykaty44 · 03/05/2019 22:10

Arthur reminds me of this man

Baby Sussex: last chance for a guess?
AuldJosey · 03/05/2019 22:19

Wasn't there an Arthur in Corrie? An auld fella? It's know it's perfectly British, but I associate it with old men.

AuldJosey · 03/05/2019 22:20

They should call it Bob. Be like Bob.

Whisky2014 · 03/05/2019 22:25

GirlRaisedInTheSouth

Didn’t Pippa just have an Arthur? Whatever, it’s an awful name.

Charming. I'm due in August and calling him Arthur. Named after his great grandad. It's cute.

Freaking0ut · 03/05/2019 22:31

I have an Arthur. He is named after King Arthur and is an awesome kid, ta very much.

FrownPrincess · 03/05/2019 22:31

If it’s a girl, I reckon Stella Grace Robin

If it’s a boy, Alexander Luther Charles

RoseAndRose · 03/05/2019 22:45

"Wasn't there an Arthur in Corrie?"

You might be thinking of Arthur Fowler, one of the original characters in Eastenders.

AuldJosey · 03/05/2019 22:50

No, it's Norris I'm thinking of! But I don't know any young Arthurs.

GlacindaTheTroll · 03/05/2019 23:06

'They should call it Bob'

But wouldn't they need to put Catherine on the birth certificate?

AuldJosey · 03/05/2019 23:09

I wouldn't worry about birth certificates. Just Bob would do.

And a child was be-borneth to the Sussexes and he was a beautiful child. And there was great joy in the land. Everyone rejoiced for the fair maiden had brought forth a fine specimen. And they named the child - Bob. The End.

AuldJosey · 03/05/2019 23:13

So when Meghan brings him to nursery, after the fanfare heralding the royal arrival, Meghan won't have to say 'Hi Latisha! And this is Michael Anthony Alexander Harold Arthur Norris Alphonsus Aloysius - we call him Bob for short. It's just easier ya'know......?'

She can just say - Hi Latisha - this is Bob!

AuldJosey · 03/05/2019 23:15

Well Harry is actually Henry, so I think Bob is pretty current, wouldn't you agree?

AuldJosey · 03/05/2019 23:19

I still remember fondly when George was given a teddy wallabee I think (?) on his first royal tour in Australia and he quite royally yet unceremoniously just threw it on the floor. All toddlers think they're royals I think. My 14 year old also appears to be suffering from the same syndrome. She's a princess and I should be locked in a dungeon never to see the light of day or alternatively - beheaded.

Fred

iVampire · 03/05/2019 23:23

Thomasina and Richenda

So the Duchess can introduce her family as Tom Dick and Harry

80sMum · 03/05/2019 23:24

It's a girl. Honoria.

AuldJosey · 03/05/2019 23:26

Bookies seem to think it's a girl.

Bobby for a girl? Bobby Sussex? Kinda cool.

Persimmonn · 03/05/2019 23:26

It’s a girl called Alexandra.
