I think people hate on Meghan because she is a regular person and whilst people can accept royalty and their privilege if they can pigeon hole them as 'a different breed', they can't accept a regular person becoming royal as it highlights that 'it could have been them or theirs but it wasn't'. I think people hate seeing regular people end up with better fortune than themselves.

That she's multiple times divorced. She isn't. She's been divorced once as have most of the royals.

I think it is largely misogyny, that explains the hatred she faces, as she has filled a feminist gap that was present in the Royal Family. I am very glad she has, as it was about time that feminism countered the misogyny rampant in royalty.

People take too much notice of what they read in the bullshit press. One by one the gutter journalists try to break down Royal spouses, feeding the Idiot public with made up nonsense, to create a written soap opera that will feed the addiction for useless information to sell their papers. Fortunately for Meghan she has already had experience of being in the public eye, she is intelligent & educated and well grounded & no doubt not give two shits to what the plebs think of her.
