Sorry posted on wrong thread
But so chuffed about Prince George and Princess Charlotte
AuntieStella · 23/04/2018 16:54
A sailing boat just outside Paddington station?
Just docked (by magic) from Peru, one assumes.
I don't think Marmalade would really work as a human name, though Orlando would, if they fancy something a bit artier than usual solid choices.

I'm so confused by this thread.
Is Kate and baby coming out? What channel are you watching? What is this about a sailing boat? What is Windrush?
So many unanswered questions
SubtitlesOn · 23/04/2018 17:09
BBC NEWS channel
Prince William came out and said he would be back in a mo
Then he returned with George and Charlotte
SubtitlesOn · 23/04/2018 17:13
There is another thread that had an excellent diagram with a sailing boat/washing line
BBC went from Royal baby news to live speech about Windrush from AR and DA then back again
SubtitlesOn · 23/04/2018 17:21
The new prince will come out soon with Prince William and Catherine
George and Charlotte have gone out the back door to go home
Footle · 23/04/2018 17:25
I thought the baby came out several hours ago. They usually do, you know.
SubtitlesOn · 23/04/2018 17:30
Very droll
AuntieStella · 23/04/2018 17:34
Nope, still in the Lindo Wing.
Several hours more daylight, so plenty of time to see which dress fits, get the hair and make up done, and sort out an amazing pad-beyond-maxi capacity and present themselves to the photographers, and stil, get home to trackie bottoms and own bed.
It really can't be Much Fun to have to present oneself for pix that go round the world so soon after childbirth.
Then again, it's probably rather nice in there, so maybe she'll choose to stay in overnight because she can't be asprsed to do the prep today. Or they could just give in to temptation and do a midnight flit

Even after having help to look beautiful she did look lovely
sheddooropen · 23/04/2018 18:41
Does anyone else think that they shouldn’t have followed them home on the helicopter, lots of shots of the helicopter following them with only 2 police motorbikes and another car for escort. Plus did anyone else catch the number plate on sky news, I know they are hire cars but still a bit risky
AuntieStella · 23/04/2018 18:57
I'm not sure it makes that much difference - terrorists wouldn't be able to scramble to a different sniper's nest just because of the television coverage. And I doubt anyone would plan a hit that had every possibly route covered.
Or are you objecting on grounds of taste?
In which case you probably won't like my next comment, which is that red strikes me as a much more suitable post-partum colour than the pastels that went before.
