Here

I'm pretty sure that having a senior Royal patron is valuable to a charity in terms of profile and fundraising.

But does this sort of video statement make that much difference? I saw it mentioned in the breakfast news, but it's vanished off the front page of BBC website already. So it doesn't seem to be headline grabbing in any durable fashion. But is getting child mental health into any major news broadcasts an achievement in itself?

I like her but the video came across as really wooden and stilted. Not sure it will be terribly helpful.

It must be hard doing a piece directly to camera. She was competent, but I thought rather stilted too.

I'm sure it is but it didn't have any real warmth to it because of that. Which is a shame because it was a nice thing to do.

She seems to have done quite a few things in a cluster this week:

school on 15th

foster carers on 16th

children's charity visit 18th
