Where did Kate's parents go to school?

Reason I ask is that I suspect they were at independent schools themselves. Kate going to Marlborough was just following the same path, although Marlborough may have been a 'better' school but they could afford it so why not?

I doubt either were at a comprehensive which seems to be suggested.

The Evening Standard finished an article (very bitchily) with: "Mrs Middleton is descended from a long line of Durham Miners."

Who gives a feck, I say?

according to Wiki her maternal line were labourers and miners from County Durham -

I doubt she does!

I doubt Carole was raised in poverty although some in the media might like us to think so.

\link{http://theinternetforum.net/royalforum/index.php?topic=39634.0\thread here on another forum discussing it nearly 2 years ago} (mostly about her maternal line)

\link{http://theinternetforum.net/royalforum/index.php?topic=39634.0\sorry it's Daily Mail} though no mention of school

seem her paternal line is definitely more middle/upper class link, but mother much less so (well not at all really)
