I've no idea if it's just me, but this very active thread has devolved into something which I consider to be very unpleasant. I'm concerned about OP waking up to such horrible answers given that she's disclosed being attacked by her partner. There's a lot of debate casting judgement on OP which might be understandable given the lack of info, but my understanding is that victims should be given the benefit of the doubt based on what they disclose.
The post has become hugely unsupportive to the extreme in places.
Not asking for it to be taken down, but I'm so uncomfortable with the pile-on.
