Or is it because the posters are saying opposite to what you prefer to hear ?

Obviously all the best and positivity, but considering all his issues, I'd suggest having a good think about what you want from the relationship as he does not sound great.

@Hawkins001 really not helpful. These are serious decisions to be made in OPs life, and she is under no obligation to soak up the anonymous wisdom of late night mumsnetters if she’s changed her mind about discussing it.

Plus is it not better for the op, to consider the relationship now, after getting some perspectives from mumsnetters, rather than plough ahead then realise x perspectives ?
