During the nighttime, when MNHQ are off duty, starting a thread here to alert our Nightwatch team about any concerns is the right thing to do.

Thanks for flagging this...I was sitting on my hands to be honest, because we can't trollhunt

@HappyHammy, the OP has done the right thing. They have posted on the Night Watch thread to alert the NIght Watchers that there was a possible troll post that needs looking at and possibly dealing with as well as reporting it to MNHQ.

As BB said any threads at night should be flagged up here. That ones been hidden now

I might go and post something HQ-like, along the lines of "don't share too much on t'Internet, you don't know what real etc. etc."

Look at that were like buses. None then 3 of us turn up at once 🤭

I've never noticed night watchers before, are you volunteers with the ability to hide threads?

@dancingcamper yes we are but under very strict guidelines.

yep, exactly - we can hide threads or individual messages.

its often quicker to post on the NightWatch board overnight, rather than reporting a problem, because as you can see tonight, we leap into action!

of course, folk should still report dodgy messages etc. because sometimes, issues are beyond our remit as volunteer Night mods, and MNHQ will deal with stuff the next morning.
