What unusual domain would your cat be the god of?

As we all know, cats are no mere mortal creatures but deities. As such, many of them have their own area of expertise; some of the more famous Greek examples are Gods such as Poseidon (sea, horses, earthquakes), Aphrodite (love, beauty and passion), Ares (war, bloodshed). Lower down you get characters such as Iris (rainbows), Priapus (fertility), Momus (blame, mockery and harsh criticism) and Peitho (persuasion and seduction).

Of course many authors like the sainted Terry Pratchett had their own pantheons with some Gods who were that were a little less - how shall I put this - less majestic in their realms of responsibility. Aniger (squashed animals), Bilious (Oh God of hangovers), Petulia (negotiable affection).

So all our cats should have something they are a God or Goddess of, lets hear about yours.

I'll start things off with Girlcat - she is definitely the Goddess of hairballs. Tobias of course is the God of liquid poo.

Micia would either be the Goddess of the Dark- as when she closes her eyes she disappears or The Supreme Ruler of the Under Bed Space when feeling nervous

Boy cat. God of Fly Catchers. He’s Olympic standard.

Goddess of tunnels/dens/caves and also of boundary markers and guards.

My boy would be the God of Asda. Their Tiger brand cat food is like crack to him 🐈‍⬛

If i fits, I sits

Mine would be God of Laundry.
He can be at the bottom of the neighbour’s garden but he senses me changing the bedding and comes running upstairs at full pelt so he doesn’t miss ‘ helping’.

Haribo would either be the God of Belly Rubs, he loves it and gets himself in position for fuss. I get fed up before he does and he's never bitten, scratched or walked off in anger.

He could also be the Overseer of the Dining Table. When I'm eating he sits on the windowsill watching. He's been most annoyed tonight as for the second day on the trot it's been a vegetarian curry.

Goddess of hide and seek. Definitely the 'if I can't see them, they can't see me' version.

Boycat would be God of the Sheds/neighbours House or any other structural object he's not supposed to be in.
The fright my neighbour received at 2am when she went to the bathroom..

In his own mind, Cat is God of the Squirrel Hunt, Scourge of Furry-tailed Rodents.

I think in reality the squirrels treat his stalking and chasing exploits as a bit of game of chicken that they are never going to lose.
