Any vets or vet nurses online? Lump on cheek after initial treatment for cat bite

Heard a cat fight in the neighbourhood and 2 days later our cat had a slightly swollen cheek. Took him to vet as we were about to go on holiday so didn't want to leave it. They found a puncture wound. Only a bit of clear fluid discharged. There was no pus at this stage. He had a long acting antibiotic and anti-inflammatory plus bathed in saline solution. Healed up.

But now there's a small firm lump. It has been reducing in size. Cat seems absolutely fine in himself. Normal activities and eating. He's showing no signs of distress or being in pain.

Might his immune system continue to tackle this or is it a case of an absolute trip to the vet needed?

Many thanks

I'm assuming it's formed a thick fibrous capsule. It's now 2 weeks since he had antibiotics.

It just sounds like a scar? I certainly wouldn’t bother the vet for it.
