Estimated vet bill cost?

How much do you expect it will be to have a cat check up and various tests to find out why our 15 year old cat is losing weight?

They guessed kidney failure but she was so distressed when we got her there that they said attempting to take bloods would be a terrible idea and would likely make her situation worse so the best thing to do was put her out of her misery. Just awful

its so odd not having her about, I’m still checking the bedrooms at night to make sure she hasn’t snuggled in somewhere she will be stuck behind a closed door all night. I’ve just been out to close out gates and checked to make sure she wasn’t going to get outside and be left out all night. It’s so strange

Awwww, that sounds so sad @henkell You do keep expecting them to appear don't you? Expecting them to trip you up, run in the kitchen begging for food, follow you around the house nosing at what you're doing, and to be sitting on the bed, or the couch... So upsetting how it hits you that they're no longer there.... 😢

I had boxes of food for the month ahead which I’ve donated today too - that was the final thing to go…
