Sister cats hissing after cattery stay

Hi,

My two torties, sisters, who have been best friends since we got them at 8 weeks old, had their first stay in a cattery for the last 10 days. Collected them today and they have been hissing at eachother since they've come home. Will it pass? Or is there something I should be doing to get them back on good terms with eachother?

one of mine does this, give her a few days! Honestly in a few days they’ll be back to normal.

Thanks @Favouritefruits they do seem to be coming around, so hopefully in another day or so they'll be back to being buddies again. They are so loving with eachother, hate seeing them like this

Catteries can be really, really stressful for some cats - maybe consider an in-home pet sitter next time.

Yeah @pinkandwhiterosesi really do think this was very stressful for both of them, Ive felt so guilty since they've come home as I can see them settling back into their familar routines again. The cattery itself was very nice, the lady that owned it was lovely and really tried to make them feel at home but there was other cats in there crying and hissing too which I think probably distressed my two. I couldn't do that to them again if we were going away. Will see if there is any sitters locally for any future trips away.

Ours used to do this if one had visited the vets without the other, even if they’d only been apart for thirty minutes. We assumed it was something to do with a different smell.
