Where do you buy cat litter in bulk for indoor cats?

I have 4 indoor cats and I buy a lot of cat litter - usually from jollyes as they have a reward scheme. However, this is very expensive. Does anyone buy cat litter in bulk?

Premium cat litter pets at home online delivery. It's great!

Pets at Home for mine. I have 2 indoor only cats and due to Tobias's gut issues I need to do a full change about twice a week now as well as 2-3 times daily scooping. I use their wood pellets, 30 litre bags and they often have an offer if you buy 2 bags at a time (£19 for 2 bags) - as I need to have delivery due to my back, I'll often get 4 bags at a time then only need a couple more pounds to make the order up to free delivery.

I always use Zooplus. They have their own membership money-off scheme plus they often send you extra deals on top. And their delivery is very quick.

Yes I also rate zooplus. They are reliable and have good offers. I have 2 indoor cats and we get through a lot of cat litter

If Zooplus did the right litter at the right price, I would go there too - I tend to get the majority of my cat food there. Good prices, decent delivery, like others I've had the odd extra from them, and I love the Zoopoints freebies (as do the cats!).

Amazon own-brand corn based litter is fab. We buy 30l at once.

We don't buy in bulk but I just popped in to say the cat litter from Katkin is AMAZING! It's expensive but you don't need loads of it, it doesn't smell at all and lasts absolutely ages! I don't know the ins and outs as hubby is in charge of litter buying but he has done nothing but rave about it ever since we started using it. You just scoop and top up a little bit each time. We've used wood pellets for years and whilst they were ok, you could still smell them, but honestly there is no odour at all from this one. Highly recommended!

Zooplus

I buy mine from Amazon. Not in bulk as I only have the one cat. I buy a 30 litre bag of wood pellet litter every 6 weeks, for around £10 -£12,the price varies from week to week. I found ZooPlus to be more expensive. And with Amazon Prime, the delivery is free.

Costco clumping clay litter. A bag lasts me about 10 days (but I do have four cats who come inside to go to the loo...)

Amazon or my local pet shop for Intersand classic.

Zooplus for Cats Best. I get the biggest bag and it lasts months in 2 large litter trays with 2 cats

Imdunfer · 06/06/2026 17:27

If I had storage I would buy a pallet of horse bedding wood pellets from the cheapest supplier at the time. Have you got any horse owning friends who buy in bulk?

This is what I use too but from pets at home.
I use less than one bag a month for my 2 cats.
Before I bought the litter robot they were getting through about 4 bags a month!
