My holiday villa has official cat residents 😻

As above really. I’m in Crete. The weather has been changeable and I have had a fabulous time because this villa has cats. We have often had local strays visit in Crete and Turkey but here we have holiday pets and it’s been so lovely. I want it to be an official filter I can select by on AirBnB. Tax included of course

It was similar in the hotel I stayed in when I went to Morocco. It was a few miles outside of town and they had resident cats there for pest control and the enjoyment of the guests - you would be told which cats were friendly and which were a little handy with their claws. You were also told to expect cats around if you are outside and if you didn't like that then to always eat meals indoors, and that the cats were staff.

I made friends with a lovely cat at a villa in Italy last year. We called him Gatto and he ate very well while we were there! I left the villa stocked with cat food in case the next guests weren’t so generous! I would definitely tick the cat guests option if it were available! I miss my kitties when I’m away!
