My cat watches TV!

Due to the cold weather my cat can't go outside and I've discovered on the off chance that she enjoys watching birds on tv! I often put nature scenes with birdsong etc in the background and noticed my cat getting very excited! I think i will put the tv on more for her benefit now.

Does your cat do this?

Ironically the cat (a black cat) did not bring the Black Cats (Sunderland) any luck- with the trinket bowl their chances of three points went as Leeds equalised!!

One of ours loves Bondi Rescue, she comes running if she hears the theme tune, we’re in Aus and the kids used to have it on a lot! One of the others, once the blinds are shut at night, she goes and sits right in front of the off tv and stares at the blank screen as if she thinks she’s staring out the window into the darkness!

Toasty Boy Cat enjoys a bit of Formula 1, particularly the long shots rather than close ups of cars.

There are lots of cat TV videos on YouTube....my lot will park up and wait for "their" TV lol

My ginger girl loves all sorts of wildlife programmes and will watch intently, sometimes pawing at the screen ... Hamza's Birds of Prey was a recent hit. She also enjoys the bird compilations on YouTube though got more than she bargained for when this particular scene came up!

You tube has dog tv but your cat might like them. Many have birds, squirrels etc and can be watched for a few hours at a time. My dogs not really interested though, although she likes ones with noises in.

Absolutely she does 😊 likes Sky Nature and also anything animated 😅 particularly the minions on Despicable Me films 😅

We don't have a cat but the dog loves the fireworks out of the window. Every Diwali, Xmas, New Year, etc, etc.

Mine used to up until they were about four. Football was one. They'd try and paw at the ball on the screen. And wildlife programs about big cats and birds. Mesmerized. It's so cute isn't it? X

I’ve had to put on cat TV a few times when the cats have been locked in due to injuries. They love it, occasionally attack the TV, look behind it and generally are very happy to watch.

Its good to distract them but I do worry I’m training them how to be super hunters.

My boy used to love especially for cat videos on iPad

then he kinda got obsessed. I caught him trying to open my kindle. He must of seen how I opened my iPad. So now no more screen time for him
