Scrawny 15 week old kitten

We have just taken on two 15 week-old kittens. They're joyful but one of them is seriously underweight at only 880g. I've booked her in with the vet but they can't see her until Thursday so I'm after tips for what to do in the meantime.

I'm spoon-feeding her Royal Canin gastrointestinal kitten mousse mixed with kitten milk for the calories. A bowl of RC mother and babycat biscuits is out at all times. She has cat-safe hot water bottles to keep her warm. We're weighing her to check that her weight isn't dropping (she's put on over 100g since the vet saw last her on Tuesday). I've wormed her and treated her for fleas.

Anything else we should be doing?

Bless her. What a pair of poppets.

Fabulous news! Have been hoping for an update. Guessing the vet was happy there is nothing unusual going on, Hope they both keep going from strength to strength. We had a cat once called FC Hammer, The FC stood for Fat Cat because he was!

FC Hammer is a spectacular name.

I took them to the vet yesterday, only to be told that my appointment is actually on Thursday next week 😳Never mind... If she wasn't gaining weight or I had concerns, I'd book her an earlier appointment. Right now I'm just paranoid about checking for tiny followers whenever anyone opens the front or back door. They need microchips!
