What might he look like as a grown up?

My new kitten is brown with darker points. His toe beans are brown & his undercoat is grey. He has white hairs through his dark points on his legs. He's long haired. His mum was half ragdoll & no idea on his dad. Wondering what he might look like as an adult cat?

Thanks all, he's a beautiful menace to my two older cats (nearly 4 years old) at the moment! 😆 I find seeing how longhaired kittens grow into their adult coats so interesting

If the undercoat stays silvery/grey and the rest black, he would be what they call black smoke. Girlcat is this, as was her dearly departed litter sibling Boycat. As they grew older they started to have a few white flecks of hair appearing, but so few you only notice/noticed them looking closely.

Quite a rare colour I gather, so when you combine that with the fact Girlcat has very faint tabby lines on her head and tail (aka charcoal tabby) she's a double rare colour. Not bad for a cat born feral!

A quick Google has brought up a definition of Chocolate smoke for your kitten!

Put a photo of him in to ChatGPT! I did this but in reverse. Adopted an adult cat and weirdly got sad I never got to see him as a kitten. Got ChatGPT to turn him in to a kitten and welled up. Obviously this was a bit of fun, he could have looked totally different!

Here is my half Ragdoll boy! Also had blue eyes as a kitten. Looked almost identical to yours.

It’s not obvious in this pic but he has the smoky coat underneath too and brown in the sun.

He will be completely cute no matter what!! Do make sure you get him used to being brushed and combed, though!
