Name suggestions for this lovely 4 month old

We’re bringing her home next week.

Her current name is Tabasco which we’re not sure if we like.

Oh sorry, I missed that! Typing, running a bath and watching the rugby at the same time! And all of our black and whites have been boys, so I think my mind went to autopilot a bit! She is gorgeous.

I'm not sure why, but Onyx came to mind. It's often black, and the word itself comes from the Greek for "claw" or "fingernail," but mainly, it looks elegant on the page and has two syllables so might be easier for her to learn. She's lovely, isn't she?

I’ve always said if we ever got a black girl she would be Marnie. (We have an orange boy and previously had a pure white girl, but black Marnie lives on the fringes of my imagination.)
