Cat Three. Not handsome or clever - particularly not clever, poor love- but he is one of the nicest cats I have ever met.

?? Looks like a handsome boy to me🥰

afaloren · 19/09/2025 09:51

How dare you, he is SUPER handsome!

PembeGreyfurt · 19/09/2025 09:53

What do you mean he's not handsome? He's adorable 😻

Pixiedust1234 · 19/09/2025 10:32

You need to go to Specsavers OP. You have a beautiful kitty 💕

Mantari · 19/09/2025 10:33

Is this a humble brag? He is so handsome!

Wishimaywishimight · 19/09/2025 10:34

Are you crazy? He is absolutely beautiful!

What's his name?

Lurleene · 19/09/2025 10:37

He's a gorgeous boy and very much like a little tuxedo lady cat who is very close to my own heart.
ETA I love his nose smudge

BunfightBetty · 19/09/2025 10:40

He’s absolutely gorgeous. I love a tuxedo cat and I’ve never met one yet who wasn’t an absolute sweetheart.

slumdogminulet · 19/09/2025 10:47

He's beautiful! I love black and white cats and have one who is very dear to me.

Idontknowhatnametochoose · 19/09/2025 18:02

He's gorgeous. I don't know what I expected on reading your post but definitely not such a pretty cat.

Amby99 · 19/09/2025 18:02

He’s perfect!! All cats are gorgeous xx

Cornflowers35 · 19/09/2025 18:05

He is soooo handsome @learieonthewildmoor 😍

This is my IanyBeany. His brother is basically “if Disney did cats” and absolutely knows, with multiple camera poses and turns his head at the word “handsome!”.

My Ian however, still looks like the street cat he once was but he is the most emotionally intelligent cat I’ve ever met. If I’m sad or unwell, he cuddles me- he’s been know to lay across my abdomen if I have cramps and has licked tears from my face. He has a fairly intense cuddle schedule that involves cuddles before anyone enters or exit and waking me at 4am because he needs a cuddle (he falls back asleep purring!). I took an hour long Zoom call with him in my arms earlier, on my shoulder like he’s a baby (he’s 13). He herds us round our bedtime routine at 11pm every night and lays on each of us in turn until we turn the light out.

When his brother was poorly a few months back and required round the clock care, he really dialled back his own demands and got on with life and also became very protective of his brother, really backed off their usual rough and tumble and offered to lick his wounds when he was wearing the cone of shame!

He is a very special cat indeed. He was left in the rescue for months as he was 10 with underlying health issues but I feel privileged that it was us that got to take him home.

Not a supermodel, but I love him/her anyway
Dearg · 19/09/2025 18:25

Op , I am a dog person, bu5 I think your boy is very handsome.

learieonthewildmoor · 19/09/2025 19:00

I am really surprised other people think Cat Three (#protectingyourinternetidentity) is handsome!
I thought in view of the Supermodel thread we could have one for our Not Supermodel cats. I am not sure why I thought anyone on the Litter Tray might not think their cat is gorgeous, come to think about it. 😂
Cat Three is glossy and clean now but he has scars from when he was living outdoors/stray. His ears are all frilly from being torn and he has FIV. He usually has a pink boo-boo on his nose from Cat Two or Cat One telling him to back off.
He is chubby and stumpy and his tail is short. We thought his nose smudge was oil at first, he was so dirty: it looks like an accidental mark rather than a beauty spot.
He is very very sweet and is still slightly surprised to find himself living in comfort inside a house. Food! Comfy beds! Friends! Still not too sure about doors. Rain is a definite no.

Oh! I disagree! WHAT a handsome boy 🥰

Gatekeeper · 19/09/2025 19:08

My black and white lad is tubby and a bit dim but the most cuddly and loving cat I have ever shared a house with. I could almost wear him as a scarf! Currently a dead weight on my knee and keeps turning round to gaze at me, doing the slow blink. I bloody love him and he loves me

Pudmyboy · 19/09/2025 19:24

Of course he is gorgeous, however, having seen pictures of Cat 4, I can sort-of see why you considered him Not a Supermodel (even though he's a Supercar)

user1471548941 · 19/09/2025 20:48

Oh @learieonthewildmoorour boys sound so similar- my Ian is also FIV, has a few chunks missing from his ear and usually has a mark or two on his head from being put in his place by his very handsome but also fairly daft brother!

PrizedPickledPopcorn · 19/09/2025 20:58

You are rubbish at taking photos of ugly cats. You’ve made him him look very handsome!

learieonthewildmoor · 20/09/2025 09:19

user1471548941: your Ian looks a higher level of handsome than my Cat Three. He looks like my Cat One, who is not glam enough for the supermodel thread, but has a more Robert De Niro style that elevates him into handsome.
Cat One has a bastard streak and a long tail.

Not a supermodel, but I love him/her anyway

His nose smudge is particularly cute. Think of it a the fake mole that was a makeup trend for women in the 50s! That cast is undeniably pretty (and I do not like cats)!

Nousernamesleftatall · 20/09/2025 09:29

I am more of a dog person but that is a beautiful cat. Those eyes.

Idontknowhatnametochoose · 20/09/2025 09:29

Mine is similar although long haired and also very pretty!

Not a supermodel, but I love him/her anyway
PoppyFleur · 20/09/2025 09:38

He is gorgeous OP! I think it’s time to book that optician appointment.

As for intelligence, he has survived the streets and all the stress that comes with being a stray. With time his body will relax, he will trust that he has a home for life and his inner Einstein will emerge.

I have 3 rescue cats, they are complete joys and they show their love for us and their gratitude for a safe home each day. However we are the lucky and grateful ones.
