My lovely girl was killed on the road yesterday

My neighbour called to tell me. I cannot describe how hollowed out I feel.
DH had to go and move her, I saw her from a distance, and keep having flash backs to it. We’ve had lots of cats before, and have lost them for various age/health reasons, but nothing has felt like this. I haven’t told many people because I can’t bear to talk about it.

sorry, I just wanted to tell someone without having to deal with face to face sympathy.

Oh, I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. I'm sure your beautiful girl knew how much she was loved by you. Sending much love.

I’m so sorry. It is horrible isn’t it. My friend has just found out they lost their cat in an RTA after it went missing. I still miss mine who died 2 years ago. Cats they break your heart. 😔

I’m very sorry to read this. I lost a cat to a car too. It’s awful however it happens. Look after yourself x

I’m so sorry you lost your cat. I know how it hurts to loose a much loved pet!

I’m so sorry, it’s heartbreaking 💔 my cats are my babies, it’s an awful pain when we lose them. Be kind to yourself and remember how much your girl was loved. She knew love, fuss and a warm cosy home with a full
belly. Right now your grief is raw, in time you will find it easier to look at pictures/videos and remember all the lovely times xxx

Experienced this a few years ago. Your pain will ease with time, then I hope you will treasure the good memories.
The images do fade, try and have a big picture of her in your main living area to replace the image in your head. So very sorry for your loss x
