My cats gone missing. Think she’s been hit my a car 😭

My little girl Luna has been missing since last Thursday. She’s only 8 months old. Been looking for her everywhere calling her name.
posted it on Facebook on the weekend and on Monday night a man messaged me saying he’d seen a back and white cat being hit by a car about 5 min drive away from my house. He’s stopped the car and seen her running away and couldn’t find her. I have been that way everyday day calling her name been to the local shops near where she was hit and no one has seen her. I’m absolutely heartbroken 💔 I think she’s gone somewhere to die and I can’t fine her x

That happened to my cat

No they couldn’t find her she ran away. Phoned the local vets no one has taken her there. Really worried about her that’s shes hurt somewhere and in pain. Can’t stop crying 😢

Also this happened last Friday she could be anywhere x

I really feel for you. My cat went missing for a few days recently and I was beside myself, not sleeping or eating. I was out searching 10 hours a day and was getting up at 3am to look around with a torch hoping to see shiny eyes flashing back. Thankfully he was found in neighbours garden on night 3.

The fact you've been told she may have been hit is even more distressing, I'd be worried sick too. If it's any comfort last year my friend had a knock on her door from a woman crying that she had hit a cat which had ran into my friend's garden and she was asking if my friend was the owner. Her cat was missing all day and when she came home she was ok! I think the car must have glanced her?

If you have a litter tray put that out. The scent will be strong and help your cat to find her way home. Put out bowls of biscuits and water too. Ask neighbours to check sheds and garages. Don't give up just yet 🙏
