Cat not eating in this heat

Getting a bit worried about our girl. She’s gone off the good she usually loves. We tried different flavours, brands, dry food (she ate a little of it). we also tried the cat soup from canagan and other different brands that she sometimes takes a liking too.

She was eating the Encore loins which was something but this morning she’s even turned up her nose at that and has gone out.

She seems okay in herself. Still quite lively and bright eyed. Should we take her to the vet for a check up or is this normal in the heat?

We had a cat in a warm country (30-40+ degrees in summer) and he hardly ate anything. When we brought him back to a UK winter he was hungry all the time.

Thanks for letting us know this. Smile

Our cat's appetite dropped drastically when the heat wave started and she also temporarily developed bladder issues - which we think may have been connected - because I think she gets most of her liquid from food (mainly a wet food diet)

Loxicom and cat soup sorted the bladder luckily. But very noticeable she was sleeping all day and not asking for elevenses/lunch/tea as usual.

We're trying to get lots into her in the evening, but she is still waking us up at ungodly hours demanding breakfast (in normal weather she doesn't wake up till we get up, or even later!)
