Litter tray liners for hooded litter trays, very high side at one end

I cant seem to find tray liners that are just for hooded trays where one end of the tray is really really high, so the normal oblong liners dont fit. We ripped it to make it fit but all that has done is make it come away from the side when the cat is using it.

Or am I just going to have to use a bin bag?

Here is the product but it doesnt really show the shape of the box, and in the user reviews someone does have a liner but I dont know if that is specific to the model or just a bin bag.

Don’t bother with liners, they just shred them.

RentalWoesNotFun · 07/06/2025 20:12

Mine shredded liners too. They like to scrape at the litter to hide their business and that means claws impacting with liners rrrriippp!

I use stayfresh clumping litter from b&m.
It’s brilliant.
The poo is easy to lift out and the pee solidifies overnight and if it’s deep litter you just lift it out as a lump easily in a doggy poo bag. Sooo much easier than wood pellets or non clumping litter. It’s a game changer for me. So much less hassle. And only £3 odds a bag.

These ones work.

Liners make more mess than they solve IMO.

Surprised to see the hate for liners here. I have a cat that scratches very hard and throws the litter around and these are so thick they don’t break -

Can’t help with the specific tray problem but we have this one and the liners above fit perfectly - makes it as easy as changing a bin! (The liners fit over the base and then you clip the top over).

I think Im going to have to get a different shaped tray, one with the clip around it
