DH and I have recently retired and are planning to get a Labrador puppy in the next year -18 months. We also love cats and have just lost our elderly female, so are looking to rehome a pair of bonded cats or kittens. My question is about timing - which is best to get first, or should we bite the bullet and get them at the same time? Obviously if we rehomed adult cats we would make sure they were listed as being able to live with dogs.
