I've had builders in for the past 3 weeks, it means there has been a constant stream of random men coming and going as they wish. There's no knocking, they literally just walk in after I've let the ones in who are actually doing my flat (I've had 3 so far this morning, granted one was one of the guys who had been working on my flat).
I've kept the cats shut in one room but today they're both being stubborn (and stupid) and hiding behind the sofa, next to each other. Thankfully it's only two decorators here so it's reasonably quiet apart from their hoover/sander and they know they're there.
They won't come out, they just won't budge. I'm worried that it's going to traumatise them, that when they get let out they'll do a disappearing act. I can't go through that again, it was the worst time of my life not knowing where the cat was(almost 6 weeks she was gone for). I check them almost every 30 minutes and will try and move them at lunchtime or when they go for a tea break (if they go for one as they don't normally) but it was a struggle to put them in my study yesterday and today I think they've just had enough.
Why are cats so bloody stubborn?
