Food brand recommendations for young cats that don’t break the budget

We have 2 amazingly gorgeous rescue brothers, they are approximately 9 months old. One is at least a kg smaller than his brother. We’ve had the pleasure of their company since November ❤️

I’ve had cats all my life, I’m not a newbie to their fanciful ways! They are eating kitten Sheba/Felix pouches atm which they devour, but what is better? But not too £££

We recently lost our 20yr old lady, who, for the past probably 12 years decided to only eat chicken, tuna, ham, soup… I tried Kitkin online but she refused it.

Any purse friendly recommendations please?

My 4.5 year old has Amazon lifelong grain free.

We use Republic of Cats. Switched to it when our old cat got really fussy, and new boy is ridiculously healthy on it. Comes in at £37/month for tins and dry food. Probably similar to a box of pouches and biscuits per week.

Oh, the link apparently gets you a free taster box! (I think that’s how we got hooked in!)

Thanks Toddler, I guess this isn’t just because of your amazing breed rescue cats - still ok for my moggies you think?

Thank you too @OctogenarianDecathlete (great name) now you’ve got me thinking of it was actually Republic Of Cats or Kitkin that we tried with our elderly lady.

doesn’t matter though because all cats are so different with their foibles

@Snooks1971 I'm site it would be fine. I brought it as Cheddar was very sicky. It made a massive difference to her. And Pen likes it's too.

Thanks Cheddar. Your girls were/are gorgeous. Forgive if I’m wrong, but were you the poster who found Len?
I’m still donating a tenner a month to Mansfield Cat Rescue.
Im off to research more feline food x
