Think a cat has brought something into my bedroom

I was woken at 3am by a strange noise. Never heard our cats make it. Cat1 female 5 is running around my room sniffing down the side of my bed. She isn't usually very active.

Cat 2 comes in. He's 1 and more boisterous, he looks for only a few seconds but not much and fails asleep which is strange.

My bedroom has Christmas gifts all over it so I can't even see properly. scared I'll find a dead mouse days / weeks down the line!!!

What can I do 😲😲

Could be a mouse. My cats were horrors for bringing them in. Could be a moth or spider though. Unless you clear the room, you won't know! Sorry not much help.

Burn the house down. I would!

I one woke up in the middle of the night to a mouse on my feet thanks to my cats. It ran off and we never did find it. It was the middle of summer and I slept with a duvet over every inch of me including my head for about a month. I feel your pain.

We saw it this morning but then dds had to go to school. I kept my bedroom door shut all day. Dd14 tried looking for it and dd12 put down cheese. No sign of it 😬😬😬

Thing is if I shut my bedroom door at night they either cry to come in or cry to go back out. So yesterday I left my door open and look what happens.

Hate this with cats!!!

Sorry yes it was a mouse. Looked fine. Very fast. So it couldn't have been hurt.
