Hideous long Amazon link sorry, but I was looking for covered litter trays, and this ridiculous example came up. As if?!?! Cats are not usually Mr Jinks!

Meanwhile, back in the real world…🐈‍⬛

@LostCats yes I know?!?! As if any cat, anywhere would do this. It’s difficult enough to toilet train toddlers, let alone cats that DGAF

My youngest DCat is on the chubby side. He’d probably fall in the toilet if he tried that silliness 🤣

CatamaranViper · 17/12/2024 21:33

My cat wees in the toilet!
We did not teach him to do it though, we just caught him one day and it explained a lot. Now it's just a regular occurrence.

One of these might be useful to stop him getting wet paws, but it might also put him off!

Oh I love this!

UK sewage systems can’t handle the possible parasites in cat poo so it’s a bad idea just for that reason - never mind all the other ones!

I'm quite happy for my cat to use a litter tray but I wish he'd learn to shut doors after he's flung them open to make a grand entrance.

Lemonbreath · 20/12/2024 13:21

I’ve seen this on TikTok people are using it to train the cat to use it and they showed the cats actually using it. You move the tray there slowly and put the tray on top of the loo then take the tray off and put this down on the loo and then gradually take the blue parts out

learieonthewildmoor · 20/12/2024 18:10

Cat One used to wee over the bath drain when he was a kitten. We put a litter box over it, and when we took the box away he never did it again. Closest we’ve ever come to a cat using the toilet.
I can see why you might want to do this if you really hate kitty litter; but trying to train a cat to use the toilet seems a lot of work. Training a cat to do anything seems a lot of work!
