Raw food deliveries - is there an easier way?

I'm adopting a cat and she's coming this week. She's currently on raw food so I've ordered from Bella and Duke. Dpd have been rubbish and said they've tried to deliver and they will be back today (no time slot given though) I don't know whether it will still be frozen when they get here. I'm so cross as I was here yesterday when they said they tried.

I'm wondering if there's any food that's good quality that isn't frozen? Anything that's more convenient delivery wise? Would appreciate any tips?

We use Bella and Duke, DPD always bloody deliver it in the morning when I’m on a long day (so out of the house 8am-7pm) but there are ice packs in the box so it’s always still completely frozen when I get home!

They should never take it away and redeliver it though (it even says on the box delivery to be made that day) so I would refuse the delivery if it’s been sat in a warehouse all night and ask for a new box. Our driver leaves it in our garage if we’re not in.

That's what they've done- taken it back to the warehouse over night and still no sign of it today! And I was here yesterday - so annoyed. They've delayed me having the cat as well now.

I don't want the palaver of frozen deliveries. 🙁

Never had an issue with this company, food is great quality, delivery next day and always frozen even if left in step for a few hours till we get home. Comes well, packed. Might look dog central but they do cat food too!

Bella and duke have said to phone back when it gets here and they'll sort me out with replacements. To be fair.

Dog not cat but I use a local supplier. I either go and get it OR they deliver and phone me around 30 minutes before they leave the warehouse

Still no sign of delivery. I phoned Bella and Duke again and they'll resend it so should be Thursday now. Fingers crossed. Xx

Katkin is quite good. Comes frozen. They use dpd too but I haven't had any issues. They leave In a safe space if I'm out. You can update your delivery when dpd send you the tracking and update your safe space on there.

I would ask a vet or on a pet forum - I don't want to offend but B&D looks like the worst kind of overpriced frozen offal mush. Or you could make your life easier and buy some pouches, some dry food and supplement with fresh meat / fish that you would eat.

My PurrForm box always has a sticker that reads “Must be delivered today” and it seems to work! Also my girl loves the food.
