Any advice on finding a home for more mature foster cat?

Just wondered if people on here had any bright ideas. My brother fosters for a local rescue and currently has a lovely cat who is nearly 8. She’s been owned and cared for but surrendered in sad circumstances, well socialised, healthy, generally a sweetheart. An unfashionable colour if one cares about such things 😢

She has had no interest and it would be lovely to see her homed. Are there any creative tricks posters have used other than patience and sharing the hell out of the rescue’s social media advert for her?

Try posting a photo and description, on the Litter Tray. Famously one cat has been re-homed, long distance and despite being known as, er, a feisty character.

Thank you, that’s a very kind suggestion. I wasn’t sure if it was the done thing. Here is her photo. She’s a teeny tiny unfashionably black and white thing. Healthy but nearly 8 which I suspect is causing people to think about oncoming vets bills. When she first arrived she had left the only home she’d ever had and was friendly but understandably quiet and confused. Now she is coming out of her shell and is a mature lady who nevertheless loves a bit of playtime including climbing the curtains in her foster room and trying to eat my brothers paperwork!

If anyone knows anyone, she is with Band of Rescuers North Yorkshire.
