15 and 19 yo old DSs are coming up with the most awful/ ridiculous names. Please help before the poor poppet ends up with something I am too embarrassed to say out loud!

OP, she is the cutest kitten! How lucky are you. I adore black cats. There is one who comes in my garden and bullies my gentle old foxes. I refer to him as wicked. But that's a nick name.

I use to have a black cat called Tom

She looks like a Lily to me.
My DSis has a big posh ( pedigree) black cat. He is called Boo but should be called Bill Sykes. He’s a thug and an itinerant thief. Will steal anything he can eat.
We were recently staying at her house and left a wrapped fruit cake out, he swiftly opened up the packaging and licked one end. He had a suck on the almonds on top but didn’t tile them so spat them out.
Beware, black cats often have quirky characters. I would have one tomorrow if given the chance though.

Sootica was my preference (from an old children's book) maybe Ticky for short, but I was overruled

My black cat is called Hiro after the black train in Thomas the tank engine.
