Sad that a vet can't make a decision to not kill an animal that is very young, has a curable condition, when they are willing to give them a loving home.

It said it was during covid, so presumably the owner/rescuer had to hand the cat over at the door.

As others have said, if she had just refused to euthanise the cat, or tried to persuade the owner to surrender it, that would have been fine. The deception (and I see it says they didn’t find the removal of the microchip evidence of deception, I find that hard to understand!) was the issue.
