Cat just perches and his coat is different

I feel like my cat just 'perches' recently
Hadn't been settling down, curling up
Just perches

If that makes sense

Is this to do with him having kidney disease?

And his fur is different
It's coming out. And more ginger is coming through on the outside of his fur (he's tabby so he's got a bit of ginger in the tabby)

Is this to do with him having kidney disease?

However this particular bump in the road goes, remember better a week too soon than a day too late.

If it does come down to the vet thinking his quality of life is just not there any more, then I found it helped to plan the end ensuring his favorite vet was available for the appointment, I had someone to be with me, and I had a few days to spoil him absolutely rotten ignoring his CKD.

One of the good memories of that last couple of weeks was sitting on the sofa all snuggled up sharing a packet of sliced beef with him.

It's not time to put him to sleep

Look at Tanya's CKD - we got an extra 2 years with Saff cat after a stage 4 diagnosis

I have

But there's still nothing like hearing other people's experience

Is he still perching today?

Is there anything obvious now that could be the cause?

Are you going to phone the vet and see what they suggest?

I am pleased to report that he seems to like his kidney food!

And my other cat keeps trying to eat it too given half the chance!

That's great news!!!

Kidney food is good for all cats. If they get old enough they get kidney disease.

I ended up feeding it to all of them..
