Question for dry food feeders - rotating foods

Hello

My rescue cat (age 12) point blank refuses wet food so just sticking to higher quality dry food.

Do you guys who feed dry food have multiple packs on the go at one time or do you finish a pack before starting a new one?

I'm thinking she must not want the same for every meal but wonder if having too many packs open will end up with them going stale (even if I use a tupperware)

Thanks

Our young cat eats the same brand for his meals and has a different one for "snacks" between meals. He's only ever eaten the two brands plus some dreamies and a bit of ham and he seems perfectly happy!

Mine hates most food, but has her main dry (the one she came on from rescue) and a different one (of many I tried!) both available all the time. She has 3 bowls of biscuits around the house as she won't eat without a human present. She demands a pouch a day but barely licks it.

My main motivation for trying to find more than one preferred food was for just in case of limited availability or recipe changes at some point.

Definitely try tupperware - we do this and typically have 3 or 4 brands on the go. Having just one brand seems to mean the cat gets bored !

I just feed the same brand
Have one large bag and decant into a tub. When it's close to the end I buy a new one

I just feed one brand. Cat is so fussy he would class any other brand as poison.

We try and have 2 or 3 brands / flavours on the go - Perfect Fit and Wild Freedom at the moment.

We also have the opposite problem - one cat won't eat anything of wet food except the gravy that some foods come in!!
