Boy cat is picking at best in between rolling around in the grass and shouting at me about the temperature.

Penelope is eating well. Paddington is barely touching his food.

Mine weren't eating much, but I've taken to mixing in a little water with the 'full on fishy' (we used untamed) so it gets all fishy tasting and they are now lapping that up and eating at the same time

They drink loads of water, so not sure why it's helping!

Stray won't eat the wet food but is loving the soups with added extra water... and the odd frog 🐸

My two aren't eating as much. I make sure they always have fresh water and some dry food on hand (or paw) if they need it though.

The dog is troughing as normal though, it takes a lot to put her off her food!

Ernie not eating much since the heat started. Put dgd beach shelter up on the lawn for shade and Ernie has claimed it. He is long haired as well, which makes it worse

All but one of mine are eating less than usual. The one is doing catchup eating - he's been diagnosed with kidney disease and his meds are starting to kick in so his appetite is back. He's gained 300 grams in a week.

No change here, mine are all stuffing their faces and screaming at me everytime I go into the kitchen in the hopes of getting even more food 😂

Mine seems to be eating less in the morning but more in the evening. She's drinking water now which I never saw her do before. She has also gone from wanting to eat any cat food to only eating Felix. Turns her nose up at everything else.

Our 2 have mastered getting 3 breakfasts. Me, dd and dh. Every morning.. Caught black dcat actually bouncing round on the trampoline yesterday!! Victory dance maybe?

Mabelface · 02/08/2024 09:55

Mine isn't eating much at home. Probably eating out in the form of mice. He also won't eat his dry food if it's been out more than a few hours. Completely different when it's not hot,

Finnulafishface · 02/08/2024 09:58

Mine are always off their food once it starts getting really warm. They go off and hide in a cool spot, only coming out later in the evening.

Neither of mine are eating much so I just leave plenty of dried food and water around. Reg has never been outside before during a hot summer and looks remarkably perplexed by how hot it gets.
