I have to let it go as I’m not well myself and have been scammed twice recently. I was on my way home from hospital and went into a bakers. There was a smart woman in there I’ve seen her before I can’t be sure but I think she has addiction issues. She was managing two cat carriers and had very hissy young cats in there. I asked her where she was going with them she said she’s been evicted and no one will take her on so she was looking for a foster situation. I got my phone out to give her some numbers she said no she has no phone, no money, no purse and would I look after them! At that point I burst into tears as I already feed 7 outside and I have cancer I worry enough about my two. I begged her not to set them free but to go to a vet or something. They were well fed.
now I can’t stop thinking about them. She had nothing else with her. I called a lovely woman I know through the strays and she said she could have fostered them. I can’t really go looking for her and I don’t even know if it was true.
im trying to recover but I’ve been up all night thinking about it. Could it be some kind of scam?
