I read the Prime Minister plans to bring his cat Jojo to 10 Downing Street. Just wondering how Jojo and Larry will adjust to one another.

Maybe the Starmer kids were fans of Dance Moms. So JoJo is named after the dancer with the bow in her hair ? Maybe. If so it would be cute if JoJo the cat wears a bow in her collar.

Jojo is a boy cat

It's funny we don't know his kids names, but we know his cats name 🤣🤣

I hope they've consulted Larry.

I may not agree with his politics but he's doing the decent thing and keeping his children (who are teenagers, one's just sat their GCSEs) out of the spotlight.

As for Larry and Jojo, Larry will make it known to her that he's boss round there and that what he says goes.

He also put up with Freya, George Osborne's cat.

It should be codenamed "Operation Pidgeon Slayer".

Surely "Operation Rainbow Bridge"?

Elderly Downing Street cats are sometimes quietly retired to less busy households. But still get obituaries in the broadsheets

He'd even been on the payroll as a pest controller!

Operation London Pidge(on)?

AutumnCrow · 07/07/2024 15:25

Operation Catford Bridge is the code word for Larry.

My sister has been to number 10 a few times and frequents the treasury and a few other departments... After the first number 10 visit 99% of the questions she was asked by me and the rest of our family related to the cat 😆

A cat mayor, you say?

Given all the comments about the poor turnout for this election, an obvious way to engage the electorate would be to allow cats to stand for Parliament. Who cares what their policies are, as long as they're cute and fuzzy?
