Ooh I've been hissed at!

I moved him very gently from the front door when I was opening it and he was furious with me.

Temper, temper.
🤣

Huzzah - he really is settling in now 🤣.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 15/06/2024 10:41

Have you decided how long are you going to keep him in for?

Another week, I think. He's been here nearly one week now.

He sits all day looking through the window at Linney, Picard and Suzy. He definitely wants to go out and join them.

Sounds a sensible option 👍.

RumNotRun · 15/06/2024 11:01

Great news that he is still a feisty little beast! Grumpy did say that TC doesn't like being told no 😁

We are not sure how to deal with this other than wash the chopping board thoroughly and never leave it on the bench again.

One of the reasons I hesitate over inviting people other than family to stay is we've mostly stopped worrying where our two park their bums... 😳

@learieonthewildmoor
My cat does not go on the worktop ( and if she does I do not want to know!)
God knows what the little monster wipes her behind on .Except for my face at 5am
I just anti bacterial spray every morning. Not very eco sadly

TheShellBeach · 15/06/2024 16:15

NDN stroking a very receptive Gizmo.

I can relate to these issues. Sybil, kitchen table, this morning (and every morning).

Mind you, Gizmo hissed at Mr SB again, when being asked to move out of the way.

Linney sits on our dining table every day.

Actually, so does Gizmo now.

I gave up on keeping cats away from kitchen surfaces many years ago when I had a cat called Zorro. He decided his safe place was on the worktop under the corner wall cabinet. He became known as kitchen cat by my friends.

It's so sweet - he's clearly warming to you both. I look forward to reports of random savaging 🤣.

Well done darling Gizzi.

Prince is on telly today! God I’m witty.

EachandEveryone · 15/06/2024 17:04

I love that next door have met him. This is such a good outcome for him. Thank you,

Believe me - next door would have got to meet him anyway once he was allowed out 🤣

Undoubtedly.

Bearing in mind that this NDN hasn't got a cat of her own, Linney, Picard and Suzy all pop into her house anyway.

Argh. He wandered into the bathroom earlier when I was doing my face, and didn't seem in any hurry to leave, so I started to pick him up.

Cue outraged hissing and yowling.

I decided it would be best to let go of him.

Just hissing & yowling? No claws or teeth? You ARE in favour!
