I am the original owner of Peppa the kitten found in the rain in October 2022..we got him a friend who sadly passed away and then I disappeared from... well everything. Unfortunately I lost my husband and everything came crashing down as things usually do. My daughter is now a very active 4 and a half year old. We do still have darling Peppa who has been a source of comfort and support. The reason I'm posting now is I was browsing mumsnet for some advice on school. Yes I'm one of those people now and came upon my thread on classics. And well... decided to update.

So sorry to hear of your loss 💐
It's gorgeous to see Peppa all grown up!
My cats have got me through some very difficult times they are such great company.
Please keep telling us about him 😻

Did you ever adopt another one, after the one you were going to adopt died suddenly?

Pudmyboy · 14/05/2024 16:57

He is completely my daughters cat. She had him in a bonnet yesterday in her dolls pram pushing him around
I would pay money to see a picture of this!

@peppareturns212

it's lovely to hear from you again, and to Peppa, who has grown into a real chunk from being such a dinky! Cats are bloody hard work to help 'lose weight'. Dogs are bad enough but they don't whine quite the same & they're easier to exercise! Saying that, it'll help if you teach DD to play with Peppa when he needs to move about!

I love a chunky cat, by it's no good for them😔

I am so sorry to hear about your DH. There are no words, but there are always lots of hugs & willing ears here!! 🤗

Blimey, I'd that the same tiny kitten you rescued?

Toddlerteaplease · 22/07/2024 15:31

Can you bury your face in that tummy?

peppareturns212 · 22/07/2024 15:37

@Toddlerteaplease yes he Is. I'm considering the possibility he may have been swapped at the vets or something. He's 5.2 kilos currently. He was 430 grams at his initial vet visit.

Oh my gosh he’s divine! That is a fabulous tummy!

DuchessDandelion · 23/07/2024 00:13

He is not tubby, he is holding his breath.

And his tummy is glorious.
